The Multilingual and Multicultural Initiative is one of eight strategic investment initiatives (2018-2020) sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The organizers of the MMI are Dr. Graham Crookes (Department of Second Language Studies), Dr. Patricia Halagao (Department of Curriculum Studies), and Dr. Dina Yoshimi (Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures).
